Individuals can be motivated by factors which are primarily internal or intrinsic and which reflect their fundamental needs for growth and aspirations to achieve their full potential. Choices made on the basis that work is satisfying to do, gives oneself more autonomy, meets a need to excel, fulfils one’s potential – these will all lead to increased job satisfaction and the ability to sustain performance under pressure and over a long period of time.

Participating in the SyCon Transformational Leadership programme undoubtedly made me a more effective manager of both myself and my staff. As a result of the training I feel that I communicate more effectively, that meetings I manage go more smoothly and that I solve problems in a more logical and efficient way.
