The relationship between problem and solution is not unilateral. Problems have many solutions. One solution can apply to many problems. The capacity to recognise and seek a multitude of approaches to solving a problem is important in transitions. Equally the ability to avoid only seeing the application of one’s experience in very restricted frameworks is essential when making transitions.
