Cognitive Flexibility

A cognitively flexible individual has the ability to break out of old habits, adapt their thinking to new situations and respond with fresh mind and eyes. Cognitive flexibility enables one to change the way that you think so as to respond appropriately to the situation in which you find yourself. When circumstances change due to transitions, cognitive flexibility helps you find the right response to your new situation.

We used SyCon most successfully at BP Finance International to help mould a more effective top team of management. SyCon help each of us on my team see the others on the team more clearly, and also understand how each of us were being seen. This led to much more productive executive meetings with increased resulting action which was important to our business.
